Jio Sim Activations Getting Delayed For Days
The new operator in the town ‘Reliance Jio’ just announced its Jio 4g tariff plans but didn’t anticipate the massive demand for the Jio Sim, so that the activation of jio sim is getting delayed from days to weeks. Reports from all over india confirms the same.
Once you give all your documents to the reliance digital executives, they will have to proceed it to the the sim activation center and they will verify the documents and send a message to your phone when the sim is ready for tele verification. Each time you get a status message, like whether they have forwarded it to the activation center or not. Even we got one on last Saturday.
We thought that our jiofi sim would get activated by at least tuesday, but we were in for a big disappointment. Jio team on monday messaged us to say that due to the overwhelming response for their preview offer, it would take some time to get our sim activated. This could take from days to weeks as jio team haven’t given us an activation date. We came to know that the Jio branded LYF phones will be getting activated first and then only the sims which were availed under other manufacturers offer will be activated.
Latest development in the preview offer is that jio have extended the offer to sony, panasonic and 17 other manufacturers. If you own any the qualified mobile phones you could walk into a reliance digital or xpress mini store and get your free sim.
