These solutions include Adaptive Beamforming, Adaptive Inter Cell Interference Cancellation (aICIC) and Coordinated Multiple Points (CoMP) technologies, which improve LTE TDD edge user download speeds by 30% and upload speeds by 10%.
It is predicted that there will be more than 50,000 LTE TDD sites globally by the end of 2012, and that there will be ten times as many sites in 2014.
