Huawei Intros 10-Inch Android ICS MediaPad Tablet
Huawei, the Chinese electronics manufacturer has launched its MediaPad 10 tablet in the country. The device sports a 25.6-cm (10.1-inch) 1920×1200 pixels high definition IPS display screen and 16:10 ratio, which guarantees optimal screen viewing for gaming or high definition video. This sleek aluminium-alloy body tablet weighs 580-gms. The tablets comes with an 8 MP rear-facing camera that records 1080 pixel HD videos and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.
The tablets runs Android 4.0 aka Ice cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 quad-core processor. Additionally, the tablet is said offer LTE services, with wireless data connection at speeds of 150 Mbps LTE, other than the usual Wi-Fi and 3G versions. The MediaPad 10 is loaded with a powerful 6,600mAh battery, that provides more than 10 hours of usage.
For music lovers, the tablet comes with a 5.1 Dolby surround sound, to improve the overall sound quality of the content on the tablet. The company is offering a keyboard add-on with MediaPad 10 tablet. The MediaPad 10 also supports ethernet access via USB adapter cable.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD will be available during December across India and the company has not divulged the pricing of the tablet. Earlier, the company’s smaller tablet, MediaPad Lite 7 tablet was available for pre-order in the country and this one is priced at Rs 13,700.
