HTC One Coming To India On 22 April

If you are looking to buy a high-end smartphone, you may want to wait for HTC’s latest flagship phone. HTC One, the Android based smartphone, was launched by the Taiwanese smartphone maker in February. After over a month of its launch, the device is finally making its way to the Indian shores.

According to an Android OS report, HTC one will begin selling in the country from 22 April. One of the readers of the website got the information from someone in HTC South-Asia as well an HTC retailer in New Delhi. It is worth mentioning here that the company had earlier announced its plans to launch the device in Asia-Pacific region before end-of-April.

HTC’s new smartphone runs on Android 4.1.2 and features Sense 5.0. The 11.9-cm (4.7-inch) smartphone sports a Super LCD 3 display and 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor. It comes packed with 2GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 2300 mAh battery, NFC and 4 megapixel camera with HTC Ultrapixel technology. It means that the phone has a custom camera, with f/2.0 aperture lens and a new sensor technology that allows sensor to gather 300 percent more light than traditional smartphone camera sensors. Its cameras offers support for multi-axis optical image stabilisation. The smartphone will be available in silver and black colour variants.

HTC One comes with a zero-gap aluminium unibody design. Its new new Sense version offers latest new additions including HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe, HTC Sense TV and HTC BoomSound. The company has plans to sell the device in both HSPA and LTE variants across the globe depending on the network availability. The smartphone will be available in silver and black colour options. According to an Android OS report, Peter Chou, chief executive officer, HTC Corporation, said, “A new, exciting approach to the smartphone is needed and with the new HTC One, we have re-imagined the mobile experience from the ground up to reflect this new reality.”
