Google Unveils Nexus 10 Tablet At $399

Google has announced its Nexus 10 tablet. The 25.4-cm (10-inch) tablet co-manufactured with Samsung has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, and density of 300 pixels per inch (ppi). The battery of the tablet is said to be around 9,000 mAh. Interestingly, the tablet runs Android 4.2 aka Jelly Bean, which allows to add multiple users, making it the first Android tablet that is shareable.

The company has announced its revised version of the Nexus 7 tablet, a new 25.4-cm (10-inch) tablet called the Nexus 10, along with Nexus 4, LG’s offering with the Nexus branding have been introduced by Google as per its official blog.

The most important addition to the revised model of the Asus-manufactured Nexus 7 is its HSPA+ connectivity. The new Nexus 7 will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB capacities. The 16 GB version will cost $199, which comes about to Rs 10,761. The 32 GB version will cost $249, approximately Rs 13,465. The HSPA+ enabled Nexus 7 will be able to operate on more than 200 GSM providers around the world.

The entry-level Nexus 10 will be sold at $399, which is around $100 less than the least expensive iPad. The Nexus 10 will be available from 13 November in the US, Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan. The other option is a 32 GB Wi-Fi only Nexus 10 that costs $499.
