WhatsApp temporarily pulled from Windows Phone Store due to technical issues

WhatsApp mysteriously pulled from Windows phone store, the users of this platform confused why its would be pulled.

Existing whatsapp users can continue using it, but  who don’t have can’t download it anymore. This app had been facing lots of technical issues,  leaving many wondering if Microsoft or Facebook pulled the app until they are able to fix it.

The search results in devices running Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 do not show the app. However, it is believed to be working properly for the existing users. As Windows 8.1 is crucial for Microsoft, the company wants to ensure that the app doesn’t offer a compromised experience. There is no word on how much time; it would take to fix the issue.

The Whatsapp said on a Facebook comment that “due to technical issues, we have chosen to un-publish WhatsApp Messenger on the Windows Phone platform.”

The company says it is “working closely with Microsoft to solve the problems” but hopes that it will return to the store soon.
