Vodafone India Welcomes Aircel users in TN to Port Network

The telecom operator Vodafone India state that it is inviting Aircel clients in Tamil Nadu to port to its network system and to come and experience the best in class 4G network with a choice of attractive tariff plans

The telecom operator Vodafone India in an announcement on Wednesday state that it is inviting Aircel clients in Tamil Nadu to port to its network system and to come and experience the best in class 4G network with a choice of attractive tariff plans. The announcement comes when Close to 10 lakh Aircel clients in Tamil Nadu have ported their numbers to Vodafone.Existing and new Vodafone clients can also select plans bundled with handsets with cash back.

The telco said that the retail shops in Tamil Nadu are open every week to encourage port-ins. Prior, Aircel was the most-preferred mobile service provider in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu. Vodafone’s Network is furnished with required data transfer capacity and extra ability to help increment popular.

“Clients can walk into more than 600 Vodafone stores and Mini stores crosswise over Tamil Nadu which are open every week to serve and help them. Presently stay certainly associated with pocket-friendly tariff plans., with Vodafone SuperNet,” said S. Murali, Business Head, Tamil Nadu Circle, Vodafone India.

Aircel clients have been reportedly confronting issues in porting their number to other providers since the network system is down.

For the smooth transition to Vodafone SuperNetTM in Tamil Nadu, Aircel Clients can:

  • Produce MNP code by sending PORT < Current mobile Number> to 1900.
  • Submit this MNP code along with Aadhar number at the nearest Vodafone store or Vodafone retailer

Aircel declared recently that it has filed for bankruptcy as the company has been confronting the pained situation in the highly financially stressed industry.Aircel had said that Strong struggle following the disruptive entrance of the latest players, legal and administrative difficulties, also a high level of unsustainable liability and bigger losses had together made significant “negative business and reputational impact” on the company.
