Vodafone expands its 4G services to 4 districts of West Bengal
Even though the market is suffering from the impact of demonetization, telecom operator Vodafone expanded its 4G services to 4 more districts of West Bengal – Alipurduar, Purulia, Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar on Monday. In the coming months, the company is also planning to roll out its services to other parts of Bengal as well.
To attract more customers, Vodafone is offering free upgrade to 4G for customers along with free 4G SIM. Existing customers buying greater than 1GB packs will get twice the data allowance. They can also upgrade to a 4G SIM for free and will also get 2GB 4G data free for 10 days. Apart from offering double data for selective data packs, the customers buying a new 4G handset will get 10GB of 4G data at Rs 251 and double data of 20 GB at Rs 955. The telco will allow 4G international roaming across 25 countries including UK, US, UAE, Singapore and Canada.
