Samsung J7 Duo With Dual Camera Now In India

Samsung India on Tuesday extended its scope of Galaxy smartphones with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo. The smartphone was previously spotted on various benchmarking platforms is officially listed on Samsung India website. The gadget has a typical Samsung type styling with a plastic build.

Dual cameras with f/1.9 aperture make an appearance for the first time on the J series of smartphones, and organization is pitching them as ‘incredible’ for low-light photography.The smartphone also includes a Super AMOLED display and accompanies Bixby support. The J series is Samsung’s most famous smartphones series representing every third smartphone sold in the country, the company said. The smartphone was listed before today on Samsung shop showing its imminent release.

Samsung India Introduced Galaxy J7 Duo with the dual camera — a first in the well known “J” series — at Rs 16,990. Galaxy J7 Duo comes with rear camera system of 13 MP+5MP setup and 8MP front camera. The device comes with the most recent operating system “Android Oreo”. “The presentation of the dual camera in Galaxy J demonstrates that we listen to our customers and bring significant developments that help to improve their lives,” Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said in an announcement.

The Smartphone is expected to be made accessible in more two shading alternatives i.e.White, Black and will have a host of connectivity options regarding of 3G, 4G, Wifi Bluetooth capabilities.

The device has “Exynos 7” series processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB memory that is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The device has 5.5-inch HD “Super AMOLED” display and houses 3,000mAh battery. The “App Pair” highlight gives clients work on two apps simultaneously. On the camera front, there is a 13-megapixel primary lens + 5-megapixel secondary lens. Both lenses come with f.1.9 aperture making them solid for low-light photography. With Galaxy J7 Duo, clients get Live Focus and Background Blur Shape capacities. With Live Focus, clients can take portraits with background blur. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The front camera also comes with advanced modes, the Selfie Focus mode blurs the background, at the same time, the Beauty Mode improves the selfie. Galaxy J7 Duo also comes with Face Unlock feature apart from a fingerprint sensor to open the gadget.

Weighing in at 174 grams, the device will be available across retail stores starting April 12, 2018. In recent months, Samsung India has been facing strong competition from Xiaomi in the Indian smartphone industry.  This looks to be a tough sell at price against competitors that have better specifications like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Honor 9 Lite, and the Honor 7X.
