It seems Samsung has big plans for its tablet division this year. Previously, we reported about the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, now, benchmark test indicates another tablet model dubbed as Tab 3 Plus, which Samsung is building secretly in its workshop. Benchmark tests have confirmed that the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus model will house a dual core Exynos 5 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.
The Tab 3 Plus will run on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system and will sport a 25.4-cm (10-inch) display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. So, will Samsung introduce two 10-inch tablets at the same time? Well, we have to wait a while before we can get a clear picture of what Samsung is planning this year.
Meanwhile, Samsung is working on three Android tablets codenamed as Kona, Santos and Roma. Samsung would be releasing them by June 2013. Don’t be surprised by the code names! The next generation of Galaxy tablets are built under the codename SANTOS, the new code numbers would be GT-P3200, GT-P3210, GT-P5200 and GT-P5210. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is codenamed as Kona. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has been confirmed and the spec sheet of the tablet is also out.
