Samsung recently announced its latest Android smartphone called Samsung Galaxy Core. The device is now listed on Saholic under Coming Soon category and the company has officially stated that Galaxy core will be available by 15 June.
The latest Samsung Galaxy Core has dual SIM support and dual GSM standby. It also comes with downloadable VoIP client. 2G is taken care by quadband (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) while 3G runs on HSUPA 900/2100.
Other features include a 10.9-cm (4.3-inch) TFT LCD touchscreen display (800 x 480 pixels), Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) and dual-core 1.2GHz processor. It has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via microSD.
Galaxy Core packs a 5-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and a VGA camera for video calling. Connectivity features reads as GPRS, 3G, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, EDGE and USB. The device is juiced by 1,800 mAh Li-ion battery. According to the reports, its single SIM version is coming up from July.
The Samsung Galaxy Core’s price is yet to be revealed in India, but considering its price in other countries, it could be priced around Rs 23,000 in India.
