Monday was full of surprise for Samsung Galaxy SIII owners as the company has started rolling out Jelly Bean upgrade for the device. Galaxy SIII is one of the first devices from Samsung to get Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean upgrade. More of Samsung’s devices are likely to follow soon.
According to several online reports, Samsung started rolling out Jelly Bean upgrade in Poland. The upgrade is likely to be rolled out soon in other nations as well. The update is around 282.5 MB and is available over-the-air (OTA). Users can also check Samsung Kies app for the upgrade.
The upgrade will bring along Project Butter UI enhancements along with reorganised settings menu, two homescreen modes, Google Now, notifications bar improvements, resizable pop-up play screen and a lot more.
Other devices to receive Android Jelly Bean upgrade from Samsung include GALAXY Tab 2 7.0 & 10.1, GALAXY Note 10.1, GALAXY SII, GALAXY Note, GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus, GALAXY S Advance, GALAXY SII LTE, GALAXY Music, GALAXY Chat, GALAXY Ace 2, GALAXY Beam, GALAXY Ace Plus, GALAXY mini II and GALAXY S DUOS.
