Samsung Ativ Odyssey specs unveiled : Features , Images , Price
Samsung launched its first Windows Phone 8 handset, the Ativ S, last month. The company’s second WP8 device, the Ativ Odyssey, was also supposed to be released last month. But unfortunately it did not.
WP Central was recently able to get the specification sheet for the ATIV Odyssey from Verizon internal sources, confirming that the device is a mid-range device rather than an alternative to the flagship ATIV S. It also compared it to Nokia’s Lumia 822 and the high-end HTC 8X. Both the Lumia 822 and HTC 8X are already available at Verizon.
The Odyssey features a 4 inch Super AMOLED display with 800 x 480 pixels, LTE and global connectivity, 5MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 1.2MP front-facing camera, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragonprocessor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 2,100 mAh battery. Measuring 122 x 63 x 11 mm, the handset is smaller than Nokia’s and HTC’s devices.
