Oplus Launches 7-Inch XonPad7 Tablet In India – Specs
Oplus India , a subsidiary of Taiwan oplus , today announced a 17.7 cm ( 7 -inch ) tablet PC in India. Called XonPad7 , the device has been launched as an exclusive partnership with online retailer Snapdeal.com . The XonPad7 is powered by a quad -core 1.2 GHz ( 28NM ) processor and 1 GB of DDR3 RAM.
The device packs 17.7 cm ( 7 inch ) 1280 x 800 IPS Multi -Touch Display , 5 MP rear camera with auto -focus to work together with the 2 MP front shooter. For XonPad7 phone offers 3G , Wi – Fi , WCDMA , Bluetooth, HSPA + , GSM , GPRS , EDGE and Micro USB communication capabilities.
In terms of product Ranadip Kundu , sales director , oplus , said , ” We felt there was a place for a product like XonPad7 India. Offers value for money to consumers. This is the only product segment , with a brushed metal finish body unlike other devices is made of plastic. “
In addition, comments on the partnership with oplus Tony halves, vice president – business development , Snapdeal.com , said , Snapdeal will be about 1 billion turnover in the next fiscal and about 35 percent of the mobile phones and tablets . “
“In the tablet segment is growing at the rate of 30 per cent a month monthly. Specification with which XonPad7 offers a reasonable price at the time , I expect it to be received very well among young people , the target audience of the kind ” he added.
The device will be available only online. To begin with, it will start trading on Snapdeal.com . Oplus is also associated with Afforserv sales service device.
