Microsoft Surface Studio Announced

Microsoft stunned the world with its version of 2-in-1 or convertible form of PC at the Windows 10 event this month. The Surface Studio design reminds us of Apple Mac but with the latest Windows 10 OS and concentrates on creative minds. With a 28 inch Pixel Sense display and Ultra HD, this device is huge but attractive, spacious and comfortable for creative works as well as office works.

Microsoft has also built true scale into this, which means 1-inch on the screen equal to 1-inch in real life. Claimed to be bearing world’s thinnest LCD display inside a PC, Surface Studio has 63 percent more pixels than a high-end 4K television. The efficient design helps the user to push back the PC to use it as a comfortable canvas. The Studio PC is powered by either an i5 or i7 Intel Core processor (6th Generation) coupled with up to 4GB of NVIDIA GeForce GPU. Surface Studio can come with up to 32GB RAM. The storage space on the Surface Studio is either 1TB or 2TB using a Rapid Hybrid Drive. Microsoft Surface Studio also comes with a new form of input device, Surface Dial to change the workflow and bring creative process to Windows 10. Surface Dial can be used to replay your inking by simply spinning the dial and is compatible with Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4 or a Surface Book.

Surface Studio is available for preorder.

Surface Studio with 1TB storage and Intel Core i5 and 8GB GPU is priced at $2,999 (approx Rs 2 lakh).
