Lemon A4 smartphone launched for Rs 17,999

Lemon Mobiles today launched the A4 smartphone, which features a full HD display along with other features like Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is priced at Rs 17,999.

In terms of specifications, the A4 has a 5-inch 1080p full HD IPS display packed in an 8.5mm thick body. The Android smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz Mediatek quad-core chipset with Cortex A7 and comes with 1GB of RAM. This apart the phone has an internal memory of 16GB, which is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card.

The rear of the phone features a 13.1-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera which can be used for video calling as well as shooting HD videos. These kind of features are pretty rare for a phone in this price range.

Like most phones by local vendors, it too comes with dual SIM support, with the primary being a micro SIM. On connectivity front, the A4 offers support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS. It houses a 1,850mAh battery which the company claims will offer up to 9 hours of talk time. Other features in the phones include sensors like 3D Magnetic, 3D Gyro, Proximity, Accelerometer and Light sensors.
