A slew of tablets has taken over the Indian market this year and adding on to the list, Lava has rolled out its 7-inch tablet, E-Tab Z7H, which is the first tablet by the company. The E-Tab Z7H is available through e-commerce portal- Flipkart at Rs 5,899.
There are numerous players in the market with their low end tablets, such as, Karbonn, Kobian, Zync, Aakash, Penta, Wammy, etc, and now E-Tab Z7H has also joined this league.
The tablet runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system and it is powered by 1.2GHz Cortex-A8 processor. The device is equipped with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 2800 mAh battery and for connectivity it has Wi-Fi and 3G dongle support. It also houses a 0.3 MP front camera as well.
The device is incorporated with Lava’s patent application – Flick UI and pre-installed fusion app, which provides access to the user to unlimited music and videos.
Lava has tied up with firms like, Flipkart, McGraw Hill and Hungama.com to add educational and entertainment applications to the 7-inch tablet. As a part of this partnership, the tablet will come along with 14 e-books.
