Lava Intros E-Tab Xtron Android 4.1 Tablet @ Rs.6499

Lava Mobile, the India-based smart devices company offers another Android-based tablet, E-Tab Xtron in the nation. The company is gradually firming its foothold within the Indian tablet and smartphone segment.
While the company have been present in the market for quite sometime now but usually brand hasn’t been able to get in touch with the smartphone-end of users. Lava still holds the laurel of launching Intel-powered phones in the nation with devices like Xolo X500, powered by Intel’s latest Lexington processor.

Following up with the smartphones, the company has recently unveiled its E-Tab Xtron tablet. The product comes with a 17.7-cm (7-inch) IPS display and runs Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean OS. Under the hood, E-Tab Xtron is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM, which isn’t bad at all. The tablet also sports 2 MP front-facing camera and no rear camera has been detailed. Besides that, Lava offers 8 GB internal storage (5 GB user memory),which is expandable around 32 GB via microSD. The tablet supports Wi-Fi and the potential for 3G dongle support is remote. Lava has loaded the E-Tab Xtron tablet with a 3,500 mAh battery.

Lava E-Tab Xtron has already been up for sale on Flipkart at a price of Rs 6,499. Checking out the overall hardware specs, E-Tab Xtron could be lining up itself up against the likes of Acer Iconia B1, Asus Memo Pad 7 and the upcoming affordable tablets from Samsung.
