Intex Introduces Cloud Z5 Smartphone At Rs 6,899

Intex has launched its latest entry-level big-display smartphone in the country. The phone, Cloud Z5 is the latest device to be launched in the big-display affordable segment. Brands like Micromax, Spice and Karbonn have launched similar products over the past couple of months and most of these are priced under Rs 7,000, which is also the case with Cloud Z5.

The phone sports a 12.7-cm (5-inch) display and runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich version. It packs a 1 GHz dual-core processor alongwith 512 MB RAM. Mostly we have seen companies offering 2G-only products at this price range, which actually helps them reduce the overall cost.

The phone comes fitted with a 5 MP rear camera with flash and a 1.3 MP front-facing snapper for video calling. The phone offers dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB options for connectivity.

For storage, the Cloud Z5 has 107 internal memory which like most of the phones these days, can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD. Intex has loaded the Cloud Z5 with a 2,100 mAh battery and the phone is priced at Rs 6,899.
