Elitecore and Menatelecom bring first Nationwide LTE to Bahrain

Elitecore Technologies, a leading provider of Integrated Policy, Charging and Revenue Management solutions, announces that its LTE revenue and customer management platform has successfully enabled Menatelecom, Bahrain to implement its LTE Network roll-out in coexistence with its ongoing WiMAX Network. Supporting up to 200,000 subscribers, Elitecore platform has supported complete WiMAX-to-LTE Transformation for Menatelecom by upgrading the existing Elitecore WiMAX platform to support LTE + WiMAX components through cost-effective integration with 3rd party Evolved Packet Core (LTE-EPC) components achieving smooth activation of multiple prepaid-postpaid services such as Voice, Data and bundled offerings (LTE + WiMAX services). The Elitecore platform was ready to go live in just 3 months.

Elitecore has offered a converged Product Portfolio enabling the operator to launch new LTE and WiMAX Data & Voice /IMS services on a single platform while allowing seamless integration between Services and Products for faster time-to-market. Online charging of prepaid VoIP and data services over IMS has achieved more competitive and innovative prepaid plans along with single point-of-sale portals to ensure real time customer acquisition and service enablement.
