Telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam LTD (BSNL) will soon launch a Rs 399 postpaid plan with unlimited calling which has confirmed by company CMD Anupam Shrivastava in twitter. The company doesn’t have best postpaid plans in the industry. BSNL will soon comprehend this problem by introducing the new entry-level Rs 399 postpaid plan offering unlimited voice calls which will counter the incumbent telecom operators recent postpaid plan revisions. Specifically, there will be a competition against the aggressive plans offered by Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea etc.
BSNL will introduce this plan which is similar to Idea’s and Airtel’s that offer unlimited calling at Rs 399. However, still there is a doubt that when the company will be coming up with this new postpaid plan. Presently, it appears, is the turn of BSNL postpaid clients to get some reasonable plans also. However, we came to know that the plan has been waiting for final approval of higher authorities and will be launched for customers on next week or over the weekend itself.
There is no further information regarding whether or not the plan includes other benefits such as data and SMS. It is important that the operator mainly offers 3G services and the main location where it offers 4G services in Kerala. BSNL as of now offers an unlimited call plan for which is estimated at Rs 999 and accompanies 1GB everyday data for a validity of 181 days.
Currently, BSNL has several postpaid plans which is starting from Rs 99 up to Rs 1,525. But, the premium Rs 1,525 postpaid plan is the best plan in the industry right now and offers unlimited data without any FUP limit like other operators.
The major three telecom operators of India such as Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea Cellular are constantly revising their postpaid plans since the last two weeks. Firstly, Airtel provides a Rs 399 plan where it offers clients 20GB of packaged 3G/4G data to postpaid customers. This plan was updated to offer more data as prior Airtel offered just10GB of data. And Idea Cellular revised its Rs. 389 postpaid plan to 20GB data, up from 10GB. Subscribers additionally get free 3000 local, national and roaming SMS and free subscription of Idea Movies &TV, Idea Music and Idea Games applications for a year. The data carry forward limit for this plan is up to 200GB. Then Vodafone also provides 20GB of data with the same Rs 399 plan. Reliance Jio’s postpaid plan at Rs. 409 also offers 20GB of bundled data along with unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls.
We are eagerly waiting to know what are the additional benefits with the Rs. 399 postpaid plan to be introduced soon by BSNL.
