BSNL has decided to revise its tariff plans for its 2G and 3G prepaid customers. The company has decided to hike its tariffs, which will be applicable from 15 December.
Now the lifetime prepaid plan comes with local onnet calling at 90p per minute, local offnet calling Rs 1 per min. Video call rate is priced at Rs 2 per minute. On per second plan local onnet calling will be at 1.2p per second, local offnet calling at 1.5p per second and video call rate is now 4 paisa per second. Per minute plan comes with local onnet calling at 60p per minute, local offnet calling 70p per min and video call rate is now Rs 2 per minute.

The operator is also withdrawing its existing special tariff vouchers (STV) for ’1p/sec’ and ‘all@49′ and will offer STVs – STV 25 for Per Sec customers and STV 19 for Per Minute customer. Both the schemes come with 90 days validity.
BSNL has also revised price of broadband modems. From now onwards, all types of modems will cost an extra Rs 300. Users will get 3 years of maintenance services excluding 2 years of warranty period for buying modems from BSNL as outright purchase or having modems on rental. However, the rental charges for modems have not revised
