According to a report by RTN Asia, after announcing the launch of two new tariff plans Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has increased data for its current 3G plans. Few days back BSNL had experimented the same on two of its recharge plans. The Rs 78 pack that provided 1 GB data for 5 days had been replaced by 2 GB data and Rs 291 plan which once provided 2GB per month will offer 8GB data.

The 3G plan at Rs 549 3G pack will provide 15 GB data where earlier it used to give 10 GB per month, making it around Rs 36 per GB is the second cheapest plan from BSNL. BSNL’s Rs 156 pack will offer 3 GB instead of 2 GB for 10 days.
The Rs 155 pack will offer 2 GB with five extra days of validity. Customers can also get 1 GB data for Rs 98/99 with a validity of 14 days. As far as the long validity plans by BSNL are concerned, all the plans will be valid for 60 days. The cheapest plan is the Rs 561 plans where customers will get 11 GB instead of 5 GB. Rs 821 plan will offer 15 GB instead of 6 GB, Rs 444 plan will provide 8 GB as compared to 3 GB earlier. The Rs 451 plan will give 6 GB instead of 2 GB, with talktime of Rs 80 and Rs 3099 plan will provide 20 GB as compared to 15 GB earlier, with unlimited calls and SMS.
All the new 3G plans with extra data will be valid only till May 5.
