Bharat sanchar Nigam limited , the popular ISP providing internet via landline connection increased their minimum speed to 1Mbps. The subscribers will get minimum speed of 1 Mbps, for FUP plans the post FUP speed will be minimum 1 Mbps . The private internet providers like ACT Broadband , Asianet Broadband , Tikona Broadband already have much more impressive plans, but the only available internet connection for someone in a village is BSNL .
The connection drop is another issue for them, due to the problems caused to telephone lines the signal strength may not reach the subscribers. They not taking necessary action for these problems.
