BSNL freedom offer : Unlimited free calls on Sundays from Aug 15 !
BSNL India’s largest Landline service provider is trying their maximum to convince the customers by retaining their loyalty towards the network. By the recent developments it feels like it’s not only the current subscribers they are aiming at, but also they are trying their hand to attract new ones to the network. The move like increasing their minimum speed to 1Mbps can be a part of it. Through this, subscribers will get minimum speed of 1 Mbps and for FUP plans the post FUP speed will be minimum 1 Mbps.
Yet another interesting move is from August 15, Customers of state-run BSNL will be able to make free unlimited calls on any mobile or landline number in the country on Sundays.

Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said in his tweet today. So BSNL Landline customers may enjoy 24 Hours Unlimited Free Outgoing Calls to Any Network on all Sundays from 15th August 2016.
Unlimited Free calling scheme on all Sundays is in addition to free night calling to all networks already being offered from 9PM to 7AM. According to official sources, details of the unlimited free calling plan will be released on August 15. As a special measure Honourable Minister of State for Communications, Sh. Manoj Sinha announced calling from BSNL landline to any other network will also be free on 15-8-2016, Independence Day of the country. Also customers can book a new landline connection @ Rs. 49/- mental rental. This scheme will continue for 6 months from the date of activation. Then after that customers can choose any landline plan of his choice. Window for this scheme will be there for only 6 months, starting from 15-8-2016.
BSNL commands around 57 per cent market share with 14.35 million customers. BSNL landline connection plan starts at a monthly rental of Rs 120 per month which includes 120 free minutes of call within BSNL network during a month. Private operator Airtel offers free unlimited calling from landline to any network in the country throughout the day at extra monthly fee of about Rs 100 per month.
Let’s hope that BSNL will realize the fact that it’s not only the offers that the customers are concerned about, but the current issues like clarity and call drop they are fed up with. They need to resolve these issues as soon as possible because only then customers will be able to enjoy these interesting offers to the fullest.
