Airtel Allows Sending Messages Even at Zero balance!

Recently, Airtel had introduced its Call-me-back service, wherein users with balance as low as Rs 1 will be able to send the text to the people whom they want to call back.

The company behind providing this service to Airtel is mCarbon, which is already known for offering various Value Added Service (VAS) to telecom companies in the country. The said service works under a mechanism for the mobile terminal, which triggers mobile services such as call-back, interactive messaging, information enquiry services, customer service and mobile chat. The mechanism of USSD integration with the back-end technology ensures message delivery over a high-speed, secure platform whilst enabling rapid application development, with a service creation platform supporting rapid, cost-effective service launch for operators.

Talking about the latest service, Rajesh Razdan, co-founder and director, mCarbon Tech Innovation said , “mCarbon has always believed in offering its assistance to operators in the country, when it comes to services that require technical assistance like value added features and ‘Call-me-back’ for Airtel is one such service that is part of our philosophy.”

The call-me-back service forms part of mCarbon’s existing mobile social offerings for telcos, which enables them to keep in touch with users.
